Mazi Francis Onyekachi Iwuaru comes from Umugaa Umunama in Ezinihitte Mbaise L.G.A. Imo state.

He is a graduate of Mechanical Engineering from the Polytechnics Ibadan, Oyo State, which he obtained in 1998.

After his National Youth Service in February 2000, he started his oil and gas career same year with Geoservices Nigeria Ltd in Port Harcourt as a Trainee Wireline Operator. He rose to the position of a base supervisor and coordinator before he left the company in 2011. He worked both in the servicing and producing sector of the oil and gas industry as a Well Intervention Engineer till 2019.

He currently manages his own business in the hospitality industry at De Nero Gardens and Resorts where he enjoys serving the people. He loves singing and enjoys seeing people happy.

Francis is married to Mrs. Angeline Nnenna Iwuaru. The marriage is blessed with five children, three boys and two girls.
